What you'll do:
As a Domain Architect (Markets), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's technology landscape. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their demands and drivers, assessing the impacts on the existing technology portfolio. Your expertise will guide the development of solution options, ensuring alignment with the target state end-to-end architecture for Markets. You will also present detailed architecture views to a variety of stakeholders, fostering understanding and alignment across business and technology teams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business demands and drivers
- Assess the impacts and implications for our existing technology portfolio and programs of work
- Shape responses to business demands and drivers
- Develop solution options in collaboration with business analysts and engineers
- Maintain key Architecture artefacts such as Architecture / Solution Overview
- Develop and maintain a target state E2E architecture for Markets
- Ensure alignment of projects with target state architecture
- Present big picture or detailed architecture views and artefacts to a variety of stakeholders across business and technology teams
What you bring:
The ideal Domain Architect (Markets) candidate brings a wealth of experience in technology architecture, from strategy to detailed solution design. She possesses deep knowledge of financial markets and end-to-end architectures for Markets. Her understanding of pricing & risk management models across FX and Fixed Income is complemented by familiarity with leading vendors in the Markets space. She has insight into application development leveraging cloud-native technologies and experience in analysing and modelling the Markets domains. Her expertise extends to distributed (micro)service-oriented architecture and data management.
- At least ten years of experience as a technology architect - ranging from technology strategy to detailed solution design
- Deep financial markets knowledge and insights into Markets E2E architectures
- Understanding of pricing & risk management models across FX and Fixed Income
- Familiarity with leading vendors in the Markets space, e.g., ION Marketview and Murex
- Insight into application development leveraging cloud-native technologies
- Experience in analysing and modelling the Markets domains and associated service design
- Experience in distributed (micro)service-oriented architecture, as well as refactoring monoliths into modular services
- Understanding of data management including reference data management, data integration technologies, and data architectures to support information, analytics, and insights
