The Opportunity

Aveo Springfield is a vibrant community, nestled amongst beautifully landscaped gardens, and sets a new standard in retirement living. As a Domestic Attendant, you will work closely with our friendly residents and staff to support our residents with housekeeping, laundry and general domestic cleaning duties around our village. You'll enjoy working within a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality cleaning services and connecting with residents. This is a great opportunity for anyone with a background in cleaning, working with seniors or someone looking for a part-time position!

This is a permanent part-time position working: Week One - Monday 7-1.30pm, Tuesday 7-1.30pm, Wednesday 7-12pm & Thursday 7-1.30pm. Week Two - Monday 7-1.30pm, Tuesday 7-1.30pm and Friday 2-7pm.

You will

• Deliver high-quality cleaning services within resident's apartments, units and common areas including floors, bathrooms, kitchens and general housekeeping
• Deliver thorough service to residents and fellow staff members by attending to resident requests and community emergencies 
• Enjoy building relationships and being a friendly face to residents 
• Provide assistance to the residents and community with general ad-hoc tasks 
• Follow all OH&S standards and report any safety & security incidents 

What you will bring

• Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping or laundry service roles (highly desired)
• Current Police Check clearance (required, but we can complete for you!)
• Current COVID-19 Vaccinations up-to-date (required)
