Relocation assistance of up to $750We have a great opportunity available for 5X Domestic Caterers to join the team at our Juniper Ngamang Bawoona in Derby & Junipe Guwardi site in Fitzroy Crossing!.The primary purpose of this role is to provide assistance in the kitchen, preparing food, assisting with meal services, ensure all areas of the site are kept hygienic and presentable and all linen and residents' clothing is appropriately laundered and returned them.This will be a perfect opportunity for you if you have a passion for hospitality and also enjoy being with older people and making a positive difference to the lives of others.On offer for the successful candidate will be Full-time position, working 37.5 hours a week.Key Responsibilities of this role:Preparing and presenting breakfast, serving of lunch and dinner
Cleaning of cooking areas and equipment to a high standard
Application of safe food handling practices
Provide cleaning services including vacuuming, emptying rubbish bins, dusting, wiping surfaces, maintaining the cleanliness of residents' rooms, windows, toilets, bathrooms and communal areas
Attend to residents' laundry including the washing of residents' clothing according to manufacturers' specifications
Ensuring bed linen is stripped, laundered and labelled correctly
Demonstrate a high level of respect for residents' property and privacy
Safe use of equipment and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Adhere to Juniper's policies and procedures relating to Occupational Safety and Health
The Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:Experience in a commercial cooking environment or aged care catering (desirable)
