About the Role

Our software engineering team is rapidly growing and we are currently looking for a Domo Developer to be part of a fast paced, high-energy team. Our developers are serious about the success of the company and are given the tools and environment they need to succeed. If you are an experienced Domo Developer with a passion for technology and solving complex business problems and believe planning, hard work, teamwork and quality is what it takes to succeed, then this is the job for you.

Key Responsibilities:                              

• Work with customers, technical architects, and consultants to define the data requirements and structure for Business Intelligence (BI) applications;
• Design and development of our clients Domo's data analysis platforms;
• Develop strategies with other staff to optimise the usage and efficiency of Domo's data analysis platform;
• Develop methods and tools to monitor the performance and reliability of Domo's data analysis platform.

Job Requirements: 

• 2+ year experience working with Domo / Power BI / Tableau (Mandatory), ideally Domo Certified;
• 3+ years software development experience in any OOP language (Java,  Python, SQL);
• Knowledge and Experience in:
  • SaaS and Enterprise Database technologies;
  • horizontal scaling; delivering Software as a Service; very large data sets;
  • ETL and BI/Reporting;
  • AGILE and SCRUM methodologies;
  • Snowflake and Zoho experience will be highly regarded;
  • Working knowledge in development tools and processes, such as source control, requirement spec, design and design review, debugging, unit test, system test, performance test, etc.;
• Excellent verbal (telephone) and written communication skills and professional etiquette;
• Ability to communicate and interface with technical and non-technical members of the organisation and with clients through the design and delivery of dashboards and reports for various stakeholder groups;
• Experience in the Education sector will be highly regarded;

Qualifications/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems OR a related field or equivalent professional development experience;

• Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies;
• Goal oriented with strong attention to detail;
• Ability to think outside the box;
