Working across multiple agencies and ministries, the Catholic Foundation supports a wide range of community social services, educational and charitable works across greater Brisbane and beyond.
Led by the Director, Communications and Engagement, the Fundraising team works closely with stakeholders across this diverse organisation to provide strategic advice, raise funds for ministry, and build reciprocal relationship with donors and supporters. The team is well established within the organisation and respected for the contribution it makes to Church and community.
In this newly created role, you will work with senior fundraisers to build relationships with individuals who are interested in making a meaningful impact on the good works of the Church that has been so central to their lives.

As a successful strategic development professional with a background in major gift or bequest fundraising, you will have the knowledge and skills to ask for and deliver philanthropic donations with grace and intelligence, initiative and sound judgement, compassion, empathy, and a superlative set of social skills. If you are a friendly communicator, quick to find rapport and build trust in others this is the perfect role for you.
Comfortable working within the values of a Catholic Christian ethos, you will have the knowledge and skills expected within a contemporary workplace, including working within the donor database, writing fundraising proposals, and contributing to team discussions.
A knowledge of the current philanthropic and fundraising landscape is essential. This will be enhanced by your ability to communicate creative ideas and concepts that bring the expectation of ‘making a real difference’.
