The purpose of this role is to provide CAD Drafting and 3D modelling support to the Western Harbour Tunnel project to attain its business objectives and achieve excellence in its key result areas.

The CAD Draftsperson is responsible for the efficient preparation of drawings and 3D models required to support the delivery of construction design work packages, and that all work is developed in accordance with the agreed programme, budgets and technical requirements.

The CAD Draftsperson is accountable for the following:

• Efficient completion of drawing / 3D modelling tasks required to support the delivery of the construction design work packages
• Compliance with all requirements of the Project Quality Plan, Drawing Manual and Design Management Plan and the associated procedures
• Clearly communicate information by following project standards and industry best practices
• Responsible for providing modelling and drafting support
• Ensure a clear understanding of the technical requirements and approaches, and the expected outcomes
• Maintenance and update of drawings
• Update documents to the last revision
• Responsible for drawing submissions to the system

Skills and Qualifications

• Efficient completion of Construction Methods drawings / 3D modelling tasks required to support the delivery of the construction design work packages, development of Methods studies & construction staging drawings
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others
• Essential Proficient skills in the following software: MS Excel, MS Word, email
• Strong and clear communication - verbal and written
• At least 5 years of experience in the construction field
• Large-scale construction projects experience (tunnels preferred)
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
