About the Role
With excellent attention to detail, the successful applicant will join our Planning Department who work with our sales team and their architectural and engineering clients to develop custom configurations of our products for high profile construction projects.
This role will report directly to the Design Director. You will:
- Play a pivotal role in liaising with the Xero sales team to distil the project specific requirements in an accurate, professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to define and describe all aspects of the products to be manufactured.
- Create sales and production documentation utilising 2D CAD software such as AutoCAD LT and Rhino3D.
About You
- You are a confident, self-starter
- Some exposure to a manufacturing environment would be favourable.
- You have practical experience in 2D CAD drafting and some architectural or electrical plan experience would be a bonus.
- You are highly motivated and capable of being flexible in a dynamic environment.
- The key to your success will be your ability to engage with the sales team and communicate effectively with customers.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build the necessary relationships to succeed.
- You can manage your own workload, accurately estimate the amount of work involved in each task and keep committed deadlines.
- You are competent in computer skills and the use of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
