Our Opportunity Due to ongoing growth and work awarded NEPEAN Conveyors is currently seeking multiple experienced Draftsman to join the Slade Point team in Mackay. The multi-faceted role will involve supporting the Engineering Drafting Manager to complete the detailing of 3D Inventor Models and 2D AutoCAD drawings.

This is an opportunity to join a multinational leading company in the conveyor industry and work with a team that is driven, passionate and determined to make a difference.

You will be responsible for:

• Opening, modifying, revising existing drawings (AutoCAD and Inventor)
• Collating drawing packages
• PDF’ing drawings into packages
• Maintenance of drawing registers
• Checking drawings and back-drafting as required
• Detailing from 3D Inventor models into 2D Inventor fabrication drawings
• Creating 3D Inventor Models

The right candidate:

• 5 years’ experience as a Draftsman
• Experience in the Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor platforms preferred.
• Experience with SolidWorks or other modelling software will be considered.
• Experience in Mechanical and Structural Design is an advantage.
• Technical understanding of Underground Conveyors.

This opportunity is a unique in-house role that allows for internal growth. Salary range is $30.00 - $36.00 per hour commensurate with experience. Hours: fulltime Applications open 12/10/2023 and close 16/11/2023
