Are you a Product Support Technician / Advisor looking for a new challenge and development in asset management?
We are currently seeking an experienced Drill Fitter to join our team in Mackay.
Responsible for
- Diagnose, fault find, repair and service all aspects of equipment on customer sites.
- Provide high level technical support and training, to customers.
- Produce defect elimination programs and conduct root cause analysis.
- Work with customer maintenance planning to generate forecasts, task lists and maintenance instructions. Facilitate and complete all product upgrades as required and control the onsite.
- Work with the customer maintenance team on generating, implementing and updating Preventative Maintenance Plans and implement component life extension programs.
- Work with the customer and Epiroc Engineering Team to develop product upgrades to improve availability and reliability of the fleet.
- Develop continuous improvement programs to reduce costs.
- Comply with Epiroc and customer SHEQ requirements.
- Build long term, sustainable relationships with customers
Requirements
- Atlas Copco/Epiroc Drill (Surface and underground) Product Knowledge and experience. Underground Drill experience is highly desirable
- Heavy Mobile Equipment trade qualification or similar
- Strong problem-solving ability and trouble shooting skills
- Commitment to providing quality customer service
- Ability to handle and work under pressure
- Good report writing ability
- Computer literacy
