Due to the ongoing success and growth of our market-leading Debt business, we have an outstanding opportunity for a new Recruitment Consultant to join our team and be mentored by our partners and a senior consultant.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you ready to make a real impact and join a team that values excellence and relationships? As a Recruitment Consultant in the Debt business at Platinum Pacific Partners, you will be at the heart of our mission to provide top-tier recruitment services. The Debt business covers both listed and unlisted markets, including:
- FIC Global Markets – Sales, Trading, Structuring
- Listed Fixed Income investments
- Debt related investment banking roles – Leveraged Finance, Project Finance, Securitisation, DCM
- Private Credit - Real Estate and Corporate
- Special situations
- Debt advisory
- Strategic roles within corporate treasury functions related to debt financing, loans, securitization, and risk management
Initially, you will work alongside a senior team member, learning the ropes and gaining valuable experience. You will quickly have the opportunity to run your own mandates and shadow a senior consultant during high-level appointments. We want you to build on our already market-leading platform, and we will provide you with all the tools and contacts you need to develop your own business and network within these market areas.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage recruitment processes from start to finish, including salary negotiations and resignation discussions.
- Conduct candidate interviews and screening calls.
- Engage consistently with clients and candidates, sharing valuable insights.
- Perform proactive headhunting and candidate outreach via text, phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Conduct research to understand market trends and drive engaging conversations.
- Write search proposals and marketing documentation.
- Promote our company and its services to candidates and clients.
- Maintain organized records and documentation for all recruitment activities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2-6 years of work experience post-university in a technical sales role, preferably within recruitment
- Strong track record of high performance, ideally measured through KPIs which can be clearly explained.
- Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging in conversations with new people.
- A background in Psychology or Commerce is a plus.
