They boast as having an impeccable fleet of surface rotary blast hole drill rigs equipped with latest ergonomically designed and innovative technology. They are currently seeking a Drill Fitter Trainer to join their maintenance team at the Boddington, WA branch .
OPPORTUNITY
The opportunity is well suitable for those candidates with strong hydraulic, pneumatic and Can-Bus / drill rig control systems (RCS) knowledge on rotary blast hole drilling experience. The right candidate must prepared to relocate and resides in Boddington and/or with the option to Drive-In-Drive-Out from Perth City.
The opportunity will see the successful applicant achieve:
- Scheduled and preventative maintenance and repairing on various fleet of blast hole drill rigs including both operated control and autonomous Atlas Copco Pit Viper 235,231,275, 276, Atlas/Epiroc DMLs, Atlas/Epiroc D65 autonomous ranges, T40/T45 and or similar manned or autonomous Bucyrus SKS-S/SKS-W, Sandvik blast hole/ Top hammer drill rigs.
- Effective field service maintenance support for various mine sites in the Pilbara and surrounding regions.
- Overhauling and modification of drills.
- Carrying JSAs/ JHAs and Take 5s
- Diagnose by using CAN-BUS / rig Control system software to troubleshoot and fault trace drill error codes.

REQUIREMENTS
You will need to demonstrate a proven track record working on open-pit rotary production drill blast hole ideally Atlas Copco/Epiroc or Sandvik/Tamrock, Ingersoll rand, Bycyrus/CAT, Terex, Reedrill, Schramms and/or from a related Surface Mining/ RC/DC mineral exploration drill rigs area. You MUST be trade certified in hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical, certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology, Certificate III in Engineering (Automotive) and preferably (but not essential) some exposure to autonomous drill rigs CAN-Bus based network/rig control systems software and programs. You must be able to carry tasks independently and within a team setting. You possess excellent problem-solving, diagnostic, fault finding/ troubleshooting skills coupled with the ability to read, make-sense and interpret hydraulic and electrical drawings. Your communication skills is of the highest level with the ability to service and build long term relationships with customers.
