Role
Are you a trade qualified Mechanical Fitter, seeking to transition away from full-time hands-on work while still receiving a tradesman's salary? We are looking for experienced Trade Persons who are willing to utilize their expertise not only within their trade but also working in the capacity of a Mobile Plant Operator. Flexibility and willingness to work across both roles as needed are essential for this position.
These roles will be offered on a 2:1 roster, with requirement to work both days & nights, on a permanent salary of $179 200 per annum.
Requirements
- Worked Mechanical Fitter and preformed duties within mining industry for at least 2 years post apprenticeship.
- Australian recognised trade qualification
- Valid driver's licence (preferably HR or above)
- Experience and/or ticket in Front End Loader (CAT988)
- Working at Heights Ticket (within 2 years)
- Confined Space (within 2 years)
- Gas Test Atmosphere (within 2 years)
- Experience and tickets in ancillary equipment such as Bobcats, Telehandlers and EWP
- Experience and ticket in Excavator / Rockbreaker
- High Risk Licenses - CB, LF, RB, DG
