Drillers & Trainees - Geoprobe Operator

Leigon Drilling is a specialist provider of Environmental, Geotechnical and sonic drilling services. With depots currently in Sydney, Brisbane & Townsville. 

We are now looking for the new generation of Drillers to come on-board as to kick off things in Albury/Wodonga with a Geoprobe environmental rig.

These positions will provide a great variety of work experience, constantly challenging and not for the feint of heart. Frequent travel throughout the Australia will be required. Project locations vary from city streets to  remote locations only accessible by sea or by air.

Job seekers currently residing in close proximity to our depot locations in Albury/Wodonga will be highly regarded.

Candidates will not be selected by longest list of qualifications. Although experience is an advantage, we will always choose individuals that share our vision and enthusiasm.

Desirable attributes:

• Environmental and Geotechnical drilling experience.
• Drilling experience in a related field.
• Physically fit and willing to work hard for long hours.
• Enjoy travel and accept flexibility with work rosters.
• Ability maintain a positive attitude in physically and mentally stressful environments.
• A love of machines and a passion for understanding them.
• Computer literacy and a willingness to embrace new technologies.
• Enjoy working in small teams to overcome challenges.
