Do you want to drive into a role where its ok to be a little bit fishy?
ANZ Fisheries is different to any other organisation you’ve come across... but don’t take our word for it.
Are you:
- One of those amazing people that enjoys driving and knows your way around a truck?
- Do you have a Heavy Rigid licence and a forklift licence?
- Do you like having the days to yourself starting work at 11pm until 6am?
- Can manoeuvre a truck as well as Max Verstappen drives a Red Bull?
- Someone who enjoys being part of a team that truly values you as a person?
Why you should apply:
We are expanding our business into new waters and are looking for a truck driver who is a night owl (is comfortable working late evening to early morning).
We want to employ a fit and active person that is reliable, dependable and looking for a permanent full-time position with a national market leader. The role is for someone who understands and share our values of quality, integrity, knowledge, reliability and partnership.
If the following job activities resonate with you, you’ve likely found your dream job:
- Drive our truck locally from Kensington to pick up the fish deliveries from Mainfreight at the airport and back to our stall to unload (that’s where the forklift licence comes in handy) at the fish markets.
- Know your way around a truck to perform basic maintenance.
- Be comfortable (and able) to load and unload the truck with the team.
- Happy to sort, pick, fulfil orders and rotate our stock each day. Then drive our empty truck back to Mainfreight to collect another load of fish!
- Be organised and able to stick to a schedule (fresh fish waits for no-one…)
- Communicate, build rapport and relationships with others.
- Follow important transport regulations and company policies, especially those concerning safety, cleanliness, and quality control.
- Maintain accurate records of your trips using diaries.
