The job
You will primarily be responsible for driving and operating machinery, adhering to client specification and work procedures.
You'll use your good people skills to build genuine and lasting relationships with our customers, and our people (we're one big family). And you'll have the skills and experience to help us achieve our strategic objectives.
You'll also
Operate road construction machinery i.e. loaders, water carts, rollers and trucks and general maintenance to best practice.
Take personal responsibility for the safety of your workmates, the environment, public and yourself.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with the relevant job and work instruction.
Experience and attributes
At least 2 years' experience within a civil construction environment.
Class 1, 2 and 4 with WTR endorsements essential.
Good level of physical fitness with the ability to complete manual labour.
An unwavering commitment towards living safely with a safety record to match.
Good attitude towards the maintenance and care of machinery.
Be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
