An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Engineering/Electrical Apprentice to join our team of dedicated professionals.
About the RoleWith our head office based in Dandenong South, you will work with our Industrial team of Electricians, Engineers, and Apprentices. This is a brand-new opportunity to complete a Certificate III Electrical Apprenticeship and Bachelor of Engineering in a 6-year course.
This position involves working with our team of qualified electricians and learning a diverse range of electrical work, including control panel building in our workshop. You will also collaborate with our principal and senior engineers to complete tasks such as:
- Liaise with suppliers and customers to achieve project deadlines
- Support with preparation, design, and generation of proposals
- Offering site support to our electrical team and ongoing support to our customers.
- A hands-on approach and a keen interest in industrial automation and control engineering
- Completed a Pre-Apprenticeship Course (preferable but not essential)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- An eye for detail
- Interpersonal and organisational skills
- A positive can-do attitude with Pride in your work
- Well presented
- Quick to learn
- A current manual driver’s licence preferably, own reliable vehicle and tools
- Residence within 60 minutes drive of Dandenong CBD (preferable but not essential)
- Completing an Electrical apprenticeship and obtaining an A Grade licence
- Receive a Bachelor of Engineering
