About the position

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance and working closely with the Operations team we are seeking a highly skilled Finance Officer.

This is a varied role which will support the wider business in maintaining our financial records and performing activities associated with organisational financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions including processing invoices, payments and receipts accurately and efficiently.
• Arranging supplier payments in line with requisite approval limits
• Ensuring bank reconciliations are up to date
• Assist in preparing and reconciling of various reports on a daily and weekly basis
• Attend to month end tasks and assist with reporting in this regard
• Assist with audits and provide necessary support and documentation as required
• Other ad-hoc tasks as may be required from time to time

• 2-3 years experience in a similar role
• A degree in either Finance or Accounting
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proven work ethic
• Bring the same level of focus to the high level as well as the low level activities.
• Common sense approach and willingness to escalate any issues requiring management oversight or intervention
• Ability to work autonomously
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience with Xero
