Cable Beach house is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Duty Manager
Kimberley Accommodation Group is a professional group built on a family tradition of commitment to guest satisfaction and offer a range of accommodation and hospitality in Broome, Halls Creek, Wyndham and Kununurra.
Key responsibilities:
Provide Management & Leadership within the bar and/or restaurant;
Ensure the staff are properly inducted and oriented and that the staff operate within the Code of Conduct Guidelines for Kimberley Accommodation;
Conduct regular training & mentoring and performance reviews with all Food and Beverage staff;
Ensure the Food and Beverage department staff are trained with a view to succession planning;
Consult with GM/AM/HR on any staff issues;
Comply with company and local government policies on accountability where it relates to Food Safety, Liquor Laws and accounting;
Adhere to WH&S Compliance policy for the venue;
Uphold the Code of Conduct and employee handbook in managing the staff on duty;
Ensure handover between shifts is completed in a timely and organised manner to ensure guest satisfaction is maintained;
Desirable qualifications and skills:
Hold the appropriate Approved Managers License;
Experience – minimum 2 years in similar role;
Full knowledge of the obligations under the Liquor Act.
