Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our team 4 days per week on a permanent part-time basis. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality primary healthcare services to individuals in our community.
Responsibilities:
- Administering vaccinations, medications, and treatments as prescribed by the general practitioners.
- Performing routine procedures such as wound care, blood pressure monitoring, and health screenings.
- Conducting thorough patient assessments and developing individualised care plans.
- Educating patients on disease prevention, health promotion, and self-management strategies.
- Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Demonstrating our core values of Community, Compassion, Excellence, and Teamwork in all interactions.
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse registration.
- Previous experience in a primary care or community healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and proficiency in nursing procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Current CPR certification and knowledge of basic life support techniques.
