Duty Manager-Central Australia-Remote Northern Territory
We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager for this busy venue in the heart of Central Australia.
This is a very hands on duty manager role working across all areas of the property.
Ideally you will have previous management experience in a busy hotel or resort environment with excellent knowledge of arrivals, departures and reservations, bar operations and retail.
This role requires a long term commitment and would suit a candidate with strong experience who enjoys working hands on across all areas, who is highly organised and enjoys offering excellence in customer service.
The property offers onsite accommodation, caravan park, bar, bistro and busy retail outlet offering onsite grocery items, souvenirs, takeaway food & coffee.
The company has many properties within South Australia and the Northern Territory and offers staff an enjoyable work environment with clean and spacious onsite staff accommodation.
This is a great location to work with a fantastic team, save money and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Central Australia. Staff have access to onsite swimming pool and gym.
Package:
- Casual Role
- $32.73 Monday-Friday
- $39.27 Saturday
- $45.82 Sunday
- $65.45 Public Holidays
- Accommodation & Meals Provided
- Own Room with own facilities
Duties:
- Hands on across front office, bar, retail and other areas if required
- General open / close of venue
- Cover other department heads days off
- Counting and balancing of tills
- General cash / safe handling
- Serving customers, making coffees, making drinks, carrying food
- General office work, reception duties, guests arrivals and departures, back office work
- Undertake grounds and room checks
- General customer service, handling guests inquiries, complaints etc
- Assist managers and department heads
- Duties as per direction of site managers
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Admin & bar experience preferred
- Must have a National Police clearance, RSA and Food Handlers Certificate
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be willing to make a minimum 12-month commitment
