Duty Manager - Customer Service Champion

Middle Green is a dynamic sports club that that operates 7 days a week from 10am to no later than Midnight. We have a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences for our guests and provide a range of facilities including dining, gaming, entertainment and sporting spaces.
Position overview:
As a Duty Manager at Middle Green, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our club and providing exceptional Customer Service at all times. You will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of daily operations, including staff supervision, customer engagement and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all guests whist ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and licensing requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead by example and foster a customer-centric culture among the staff.
- Deliver exceptional Customer Service, ensuring guests needs are met promptly and professionally.
- Train, mentor, and motivate staff members to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards.
- Oversee daily operations, including bar and gaming areas, kitchen and dining facilities.
- Coordinate and supervise functions and events, ensuring smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain compliance with all licensing regulations and safety protocols.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
- Implement and enforce club policies and procedures to create a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations and seamless customer experiences.
- Monitor the overall cleanliness and presentation of the club, ensuring it meets our high standards.
- Handle cash management responsibilities, including opening and closing procedures, and cash reconciliations.
- Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard the premises and ensure the safety of all patrons and staff.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, or the desire and skill set to step up.
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Sound knowledge of relevant regulations, responsible service of alcohol, and gaming legislation.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and diplomacy.
- Able to work Tuesday to Saturday evenings and weekends.
- Current RSA, RSG attainments and RMLV or willing to obtain.
