AddressSilkari Suites at Chatswood is located in the heart of Chatswood’s shopping and entertainment precinct offering a variety of studio, one and two-bedroom apartments.
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Duty Manager to cover the PM Shift and assist in the day-to-day operations of our Front Office team.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Supervise and Manage the PM shift on the front desk;
- Assist Hotel Manager in day-to-day operations;
- Assist guests with special requests, general information, transportation, event tickets, restaurant, airline reservations, and any other reasonable requests as they arise;
- Ensure that Front Office shifts are run efficiently, providing outstanding guest service, assisting all Front Office staff, and maintaining a calm, professional environment at all times;
- Assign duties to staff and ensure adherence to hotel policies and establish operating procedures;
- Provide training to staff;
- Receive and resolve guest complaints/issues;
- Maintain accurate records including cash flow;
- Ensure property and work areas are maintained to standard;
- Build strong working relationships and communications with hotel staff and departments;
- All other duties as assigned by the Hotel Manager or Management.
You will possess:
- Strong customer focus, a friendly and polite personality
- Hotel Front Office experience is a must
- Availability to work the PM shift on a 7-day rotating roster
- Team orientated
- Be an excellent communicator and possess time management skills
- A strong work ethic, energetic, a quick learner, and excellent personal presentation
