We are a small company with 2 venues located on Beaufort Street - our flagship restaurant Le Rebelle in Mount Lawley, and our small bar & restaurant, Bar Rogue, located down the road in Highgate.
We are currently searching for someone to join our Front of House management team at Bar Rogue as a duty manager, although we are open to training the right person to be a 2ic, right up to having someone come in who can run the show on their own.
You’ll be reporting to, supported by, and working closely with a passionate and a hands-on General Manager/owner/operator.
We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for hospitality, as it is what we live and breathe.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading and mentoring our front of house team, from bar to floor
- Giving exceptional customer service to our guests
- Opening & Closing of the venue including service
- Maintaining and following standards along with our venue policies and procedures
- Keeping things fun and running smoothly for all of our guests and our team!
In terms of experience:
- Outstanding customer service skills - you must genuinely love looking after people and have the know how
- Exceptional time management
- Attention to detail
- Previous experience in a senior role where you were responsible for managing a team
- Solid understanding of hospitality basics and having confidence to speak about all things food, wine, beer, cocktail & spirits
