At Medical First group, you will be part of building something never seen before in the Latrobe Valley; a new NDIS support service hub. We aim to provide NDIS support to our community by having all the services offered in one location. We will support you and provide you with the tools you need to succeed. It is an exciting time to be involved in a cohesive primary health team which includes nurses, GP’s and allied health. As an Allied Health Professional, you will support NDIS participants to enrich and uphold their independence in the community and at home.
We are seeking a passionate professional to deliver the NDIS Key Worker Model. The right candidate will be qualified as a Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist, Physiotherapist, Early Childhood Educator or a Teacher.
The successful candidates will require:
- Allied health or education qualification (Bachelor/Masters) in any of the above-mentioned fields.
- Current and valid APHRA registration OR VIT registration.
- A valid driver license.
- Experience working in the NDIS care sectors desirable.
- Experience working with people from broad ages (0-65).
- NDIS worker screening check.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to support participants capacity building by identifying and addressing a participant’s goals.
- Be the main contacts for families and carers.
- Coordinate and build participants supports based on their needs.
- Adhere to NDIS reporting requirements such as plan reviews.
