Are you ready to make a difference as Payroll Officer in our Finance team?
Much more than data entry – our Payroll Officer will work closely with the Payroll Manager across the payroll function and activities, interpreting awards and the VECTEA agreement, responding to staff queries and contributing to systems improvements.
You will be part of a friendly and professional team providing Payroll services to a staff of 450 in a range of departments including early learning, youth mentoring and shared services.
We want to meet you
- Do you have a record of achieving success as a proficient and trusted payroll, finance or bookkeeping officer?
- Are you a confident user of finance, payroll and HR systems? We are using Employment Hero
- Do you have exposure to the Early Learning sector?
- Are you an expert user of Excel, to manage, analyse and report on data?
- Are you seeking a varied role to continue to grow in your payroll career?
- Are you positive, energetic, organised and great to work with?
- Do you have experience interpreting awards and agreements? Exposure to the early learning sector, including Children Services award and/or the VECTEA agreement would be highly regarded
We can offer you
- Attractive salary with eligibility for NFP salary packaging, meaning you have more take home pay
- Part time hours – 3 days per week, Mon, Tue & Wed
- Office based in the pay week, option to work some days from home on the 2nd week of each fortnight (after training period)
- 10% discount on child-care – our hub office is attached to the Sparkways ELC Carrum Downs
