We require a diploma qualified educator to join our team in either an assistant or lead position. To be considered for a role, you will enjoy forming ongoing professional relationships with families and team members. You will have a passion and love for working with children, while holding the following:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care: You must have a minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care to be considered for this position or above.
- First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certification: We prioritise the safety and health of children in our care, and we require our team members to have current certifications in First Aid, CPR, as well as Asthma and Anaphylaxis management.
- Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card: To work with children in Queensland, a Blue Card or Exemption Card is mandatory. We are looking for candidates who possess this essential certification.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
As a valuable member of our team, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing support to the Nominated Supervisor and Approved Provider
- Developing and implementing a curriculum that aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and caters to individual learning needs
- Guiding, supporting, and supervising staff, students, and volunteers
- Ensuring compliance through meticulous record-keeping
- Collaborating with families to understand and meet each child's unique requirements
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for all children within the service and their families
