Are you an experienced, caring, committed, and passionate Certificate III or Diploma trained Early Childhood educator? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our team as a Support Worker. You will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to children with additional needs, working collaboratively with fellow educators to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. This is a newly created position initially offered on a 12-month contract basis, with the possibility of extension.

The Essentials:
- A Diploma or Cert III qualification in Early Education and Childcare.
- Previous experience working with young children, particularly those with additional needs, preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of developmentally appropriate practice.
- Professional attitude and positive approach to work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understanding of Child Protection Legislation and relevant training completed.
- Familiarity with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Framework (NQF).
- Minimum of 2 years working in Early Childhood Education.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel, basic computer skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Quality Improvement Plan.
- Develop and implement an educational program tailored to each child.
- Document children’s developmental progress and establish learning goals.
- Collaborate with children, families, and educators to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Make curriculum decisions in consultation with stakeholders.
- Design programs that enhance and extend each child’s learning and development.
- Support children’s learning through investigation and projects.
- Critically reflect on the educational program and suggest improvements.
