Narre Warren Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten is currently looking for a Full Time Diploma Educator to join our hard working Team! We have a beautiful 100-place centre focused on providing the highest quality of care to children from ages 6 weeks to 6 years. About the opportunity:
As a Diploma Educator, you'll play a pivotal part in shaping young learners' educational journeys. Drawing from the Early Years Learning Framework, you'll design engaging programs that foster holistic development, while meticulously documenting milestones in unique portfolios. Your open communication style will build strong connections with staff, children, and families, enriching their experience. Thriving within our dynamic team, you'll contribute to a harmonious workplace where policies seamlessly align.
Your role:
You will support the centre and encourage learning by:
- Assisting the Room Leader with developing, planning and implementing a quality program that reflects the Early Years Learning Framework
- Assisting with documenting children's progress & individual children's portfolios
- Be on the rotation of opening and closing the centre and be flexible with any shift time
- Developing open communication channels with staff, children and families of the Centre
- Contributing to the effective operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and information and working collaboratively in our team.
- Complying with the Centre's policies and procedures along with licensing, legislation & regulations.
What you need:
-Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA approved equivalent
-Current First Aid Certificate
-Current WWCC
-Previous experience and knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and National Regulations
-A willingness to further your professional knowledge.
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-A deep interest in the wellbeing of young children and their families
