We currently have 2 x casual Early Childhood Educator positions available at our Friends Childcare Centre, St Vincent’s Lismore (SVL).
Reporting to the centre Director, your role will be providing heartfelt education and care to every little person attending our wonderfully small (39-place) and home-like centre, including:
- Empowering families to be partners in the Early Childhood journey.
- Fostering social interaction skills, emotional and behavioural regulation, and the development of core self-help skills like toilet training and independent food management.
- Providing opportunities for children to reach their full potential in a fun, caring and educational content setting.
- Helping to prepare children to transition from early education to school.
- Implementing and adhering to the policies, procedures and practices of our centre and broader SVL organisation.

Your skills & experience
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, or studying towards;
- A passion for innovative care and education of children;
- Experience working with infants, toddlers and preschool-aged children desirable but not essential;
- Great communication skills, with the ability to relate effectively with a diverse range of parents, carers and their children;
- A willingness to learn and be support by qualified educators.
