About the role
We are in search of an enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to become an integral part of our team at Sherbrooke Family and Children's Centre. This is a full-time role, encompassing the hours of 7:00 am to 6:00 pm on a rotating roster basis.
By effectively engaging with educators, families, and children from all social and cultural backgrounds, you will be integral to the day-to-day care and education of young children. You will recognise the uniqueness of every child and take a holistic approach toward early education and care by accommodating every child's individual emotional, physical, and psychological needs.
You will work as a team member within a fully integrated family and children's centre to provide an environment that is safe, suitable and provides a rich and diverse range of experiences which promote learning and care through:
- Implementing high quality children's programs, responding to individual strength, interests and needs of children and families.
- Assisting in the creation of a safe, healthy setting that enhances children's autonomy, initiative, self-worth, and dignity.
- Demonstrating the National Quality Standards through implementing and practicing all elements in each quality area.
What you'll bring to our team
- Diploma of Children's Services or higher qualification.
- You're a team player committed to maintaining a supportive and collaborative culture.
- Ability to build and maintain great relationships with children and families.
- Ability to carry out tasks confidently and autonomously.
- Sound practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Current First Aid (HLTAID012), Asthma & Anaphylaxis and Mandatory Reporting qualifications or willingness to complete.

- Fortnightly RDO available.
- Full time permanent position (76 hours per fortnight).
- Salary range between $69,000 and $73,000 (Band 4), plus 11% superannuation.
