What you’ll be doing:
Smiling as the door opens, you’ll walk through our vibrant spacious centre with the early morning sun shining across the nature scape, thriving with play and learning. You’ll lead the close-knit team of passionate educators, to ensure our children enjoy a safe, hygienic, and inspiring environment. You’ll promote ‘YMCA’s Approach to Learning’, manage compliance, along with developing, implementing, and maintaining high quality programs. and also engage with our wonderful children and families as one of our Y WA advocates. At the end of your shift, you’ll walk out the door (smiling again) knowing the children are continuing to develop in body, mind, and spirit.
You’ll be great in this role if you…
- Have infectious enthusiasm and passion in early years education and care
- Have a degree or diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent
- Can obtain a HLTAID012 First Aid certificate or equivalent
- Understand the National Quality Framework & National Education & Care Services Regulations 2012
- Have previous experience in Early Childhood services, developing and implementing programs for 0-to-5-year olds
- Can obtain a National Police Certificate and Working with Children card
