What you’ll be doing:
If you live local, you might know our Baldivis centre located on Eighty Road? At the start of your day, you’ll walk past our award-winning nature escape welcoming our children and families with a smile. You will work collaboratively with our Educators to ensure our children enjoy safe, hygienic, and inspiring spaces encouraging them to grow socially and emotionally while creating a love for learning. You’ll promote The Y’S values of honesty, respect, responsibility and care whilst developing implementing and maintaining programs for 0 to 5-year-olds. Then at the end of your shift, you’ll walk out the door (smiling again) knowing the children are continuing to develop in body, mind, and spirit.
You’ll be great in this role if you…
- Have infectious enthusiasm and passion in early years education and care
- Have a degree or diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent
- Are willing to work on a variable rotating weekly roster, consisting of early and mid morning start times including opening and closing of the centre
- Understand the National Quality Framework & National Education & Care Services Regulations 2012
- Have previous experience in Early Childhood services, developing and implementing programs for 0-to-5-year olds
- Can obtain a HLTAID012 First Aid certificate or equivalent
- Can obtain a National Police Certificate and Working with Children card
