Cheeky Monkeys Day Care Centre is a family owned long day care centre that has been established since 2006. We are licensed for 28 children per day between 5 months and 6 years old. To compliment this family environment, every child in our care is nurtured and surrounded by love, laughter, warmth and high quality individual and group experiences whilst in a safe environment.
We are open for 50 weeks of the year, from 7:30am till 5:30pm. Monday to Friday and closed on Public Holidays, and for 2 weeks over the Christmas break.

- Collaborating with the management team to develop and implement an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.
- Cultivate strong relationships with parents, ensuring open communication and collaboration for the well-being and development of each child.
- Be the voice for the children in our care, ensuring their needs and interests are at the forefront of every decision and activity.
- Work at all times in compliance with Government regulations and centre policies and procedures to meet our high-quality standards.
- Have a strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- A Certificate III or Diploma qualification of Early Childhood Education and Care as approved by ACECQA.
- Or working towards a certificate III of Early Childhood Education and Care as approved by ACECQA.
- Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications.
- Experience in an Early Childhood setting is preferred but not necessary.
- A sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF.
- Confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families.
- Familiar with RIE Foundations and Emmi Pikler approach is admired.
