EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR
KINDERGARTEN ASSISTANTING POSITION - (4 days)
An exciting opportunity has become available to welcome a new team member our beautiful Kindergarten. You will work alongside our kind, passionate and enthusiastic Bachelor trained Kindergarten Teachers and experienced Educators to support both studios throughout the week.
Duties and responsibilities:
- In partnership with our lead Teacher you will deliver a high quality Kindergarten program.
- Offer children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment
- Work collaboratively within a team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
- Participate in personal and professional development (Reggio Emelia)
Experience and attributes:
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
- Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, Early Years Developmental Milestones
- Current approved first aid/CPR certificate First Aid/CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training
- Working With Children check & police check
- A passion for teaching, professional development, and collaboration
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skill
- Knowledge in planning, programming, and observing children’s developmental growth.
- Experience working with children age 3-5 years
- Experience or an interest in delivering an inquiry curriculum (Reggio Emilia)
- Experience in working in a funded Kindergarten program
