Opportunity

We are seeking applications from suitably qualified Educators, committed to providing an exceptional educational experience that fosters a love of learning in children aged 3 to 5 years old.  

There is one position available working set days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11am till 5pm.  This position is for commencement as soon as possible.

We are also seeking applications from Educators willing to work 6:30am - 2:30pm and/or 10am - 6pm shifts across various days.  

Applications are invited from Cert 3 and Diploma qualified Educators.

We will be shortlisting and interviewing as suitable candidates apply.

Role and Responsibilities

As an Early Childhood Educator at King's ELC, you will play a pivotal role in creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with fellow educators to design and implement a child-centred curriculum that aligns with our faith-based values.
• Nurturing and establishing positive relationships with children in your care, inspiring them to learn and grow both academically and spiritually.
• Supporting students to become independent learners by providing tailored learning experiences that cater to their needs and interests.
• Embracing the Reggio Emilia approach to education to encourage exploration, creativity, and critical thinking in our young learners.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of our learning environment by sharing innovative ideas and strategies.

Requirements:

• A personal commitment to King's Vision, Mission and Values that underpin the delivery of a Christian-based education to students in the School Community.
• Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or approved ACECQA qualification).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Creativity, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
