Swinburne Children’s Centre is a community based, for purpose organisation that has provided Early Childhood Education and Care in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne for over 20 years.
Swinburne Children's Centre is proud to be running the Victorian Government funded Early Childhood Language Program within the funded Kindergarten program at three of our services.
The Opportunity
Swinburne Children’s Centre is looking for a Mandarin Language Teacher to deliver our language program at our Wantirna, Croydon (Norton Road) and Croydon (View Street) services.
This position is 27 hours per week over 4 days, fixed term until the 30th June 2027. The successful candidate will work above ratio, spending one day per week at each service, with the fourth day allocated to planning at our Croydon service. With fixed shifts from 9am-3:30pm.

About you

You will have:
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent
- Current VIT registration or Working with Children's Check
- Current First Aid Certificate and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
- Protecting children - mandatory reporting certificate
The successful candidate will need to pass a language proficiency test through the Department of Education and Training.
