About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher with the knowledge and vision to continue our journey of being the leading Early Learning Centre in our area.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Designing, planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs and practices, including following and implementing an approved learning framework
- Building and nurturing respectful and meaningful relationships with children and their families, educators, and management
- Leading and supporting the wellbeing, learning and development of children
- Providing pedagogical leadership coaching, mentoring and supervising staff
- Complying with, and supporting other educators to comply with, service policies and legislation
- Working with community members and external agencies.
About You
Along with your strong work ethic, relevant experience and passion for ensuring that children’s interests come first, you'll be/have:
- Early Childhood Teaching qualification or equivalent. Working towards applicants are also eligible
- At least 2 years experience in an Early Childhood setting
- A deep understanding of children’s development in the early years
- Able to self-reflect on teaching practices and develop skills
- Have excellent leadership and teamwork skills, competent in taking initiative
- Be innovative, creative, and motivated to work toward our common goal of creating a high-demand service
- Hold a current Working with Children Check
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate
- Hold current Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
- Completed the updated Child Protection course
