About us
Our beautiful Education and Care Service is located in Shellharbour and is overseen by a Shellharbour Community Church Management Committee and an experienced Early Childhood Teacher Director. Our service operates from 7.00 am - 6:00pm catering for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years and up to 66 children per day.
Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for a Full TimeEarly Childhood Teacher. Although for the right candidate a Part Time role could be considered.

- NESA proficient teacher accreditation or working towards.
- Pedagogical leadership and a love of teaching children.
- Hard working, Reliable and Strong Work Ethic.

- A Current Working with Children Check and a commitment to embedding Child Safe Standards.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Able to be assertive and show initiative but also act on guidance and work according to organisational standards and expectations.
- Plan and implement a high-quality Early Childhood curriculum and have an excellent understanding of intentional teaching, School Readiness and a variety teaching skills and abilities to engage children in age-appropriate activities and experiences.
- Able to effectively communicate with children, families, other staff and Sprouts Management. Working well in a team and able to critically reflect and implement changes to improve.
- Pedagogical leader, modelling best practice and guiding other educators.
- Passionate and an advocate for play based learning, nature exploration and sustainability.
