Baulkham Hills Preschool Kindergarten - permanent part-time position - initially 2 days per week (Mon/Tues) commencing from Term Two 2024, then increasing to four days per week (Mon/Tues, Thurs/Fri) from Term Three 2024.

Essential Selection Criteria:
- Bachelor of Teaching / Education in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (ACECQA approved)
- NESA Teacher Accreditation
- Current First Aid Certificate / Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate (ACECQA approved)
- Clearance to work with children as required under the Working With Children Check
- Willing to be Responsible Person as required
- Child Protection Qualification (ACECQA approved)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team work and Team Leadership skills
- The ability to inspire, motivate and maintain an positive learning culture within the Preschool for children, families and colleagues.
- Ability to relate to people from a wide range of socio-economic, linguistic and cultural backgrounds
- Committed to reflective, strengths-based and inclusive practices
- Demonstrated understanding of Work Health and Safety and Child Protection matters, and their implementation in an Early Childhood setting
- Practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework, Quality Improvement Plan, and the Early Learning Years Framework
- Contemporary knowledge of pedagogy
- Experience working in Early Childhood learning environments will be highly regarded, but not essential.
