Connect Children and Families (Connect) is a not-for-profit organization serving communities in the Blue Mountains, Lithgow, Hawkesbury, and Western Sydney. Together we support children's and families learning, safety, and wellbeing. We do this through supporting families to access services that respond to their needs, creating pathways both across our services, and to other community agencies that can support them.
Our services are available to children and families in their homes, in Early Childhood education centers and pre-schools, in community spaces and schools, and in other family-centered services.
Bunya Early Childhood Centre is Connects largest centre; a 54-place long-day care center based in Winmalee. Bunya has been a staple service supporting the families of Winmalee, Hawkesbury Heights, and Springwood for over 30 years. Bunya Early Childhood Centre provides education and care for 54 children per day from 6 weeks of age to 6 years. The Bunya team aims to work together with families and other community organizations to provide a high-quality program in a safe and nurturing environment. We believe that quality interactions between our educators and children make all the difference.
We have a Full-time role for immediate start to an enthusiastic and passionate trained Bachelor of Education. A dynamic role that focuses on implementing a program based on the National Early Years Learning Framework, designed specifically for each child’s developmental stage and interest levels.
