Form of workWe are seeking a positive and professional Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to lead the Preschool Curriculum whilst being considered 3rd in charge at our beautiful, heritage listed, Early Childhood service in Chatham House!
This is an opportunity to join Rise Early Learning Abbotsford as our Early Childhood Teacher, where you will enjoy being a part of a wonderfully supportive team and delivering quality outcomes for children, with the opportunity to grow professionally.
In this role you will be an active leading team member, encouraging staff engagement and participation in curriculum decision making, in addition to guiding and supporting colleagues with their pedagogical practice. You will have a good knowledge of the EYLF and QIP so that you can support the Centre in driving the curriculum and supporting the team of staff.

The ideal candidate will meet the following selection criteria:
• Be a strong leader, inclusive of others, and bring a positive attitude everyday
• Have a flair for building meaningful relationships with peers, families, and children
• Have a passion for the RIE approach
• Be open to our unique way of programming and practice and ready to implement contemporary, evidence-informed pedagogy
• Be relentless in your pursuit of excellence for children
• Have an unwavering passion for children and Early Childhood Education and Care.
Essential Criteria:
• An ACECQA approved Early Childhood Education or Teaching degree (or working towards with more than 50% completed and able to prove this)
• Current First Aid Certificate as well as CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, and Child Protection training (or willing to obtain/refresh as required)
• Minimum of three years' experience as an Early Childhood Teacher
• Proven mentoring and/or leadership experience
• Valid Working with Children Check.
