What you’ll be doing
As the door opens at our multicultural centre in a quiet suburban area, you will notice large nature-based play spaces and warm homely learning environments. Some of your little ones will eagerly greet you while some might be a bit shy to start. You will work closely with the Educators and families to develop programs that meets the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of the children and reflects their interests. You’ll help deliver the School ReadY, the Y’s school readiness program and truly engage with our wonderful children and families. You’ll help the children in your care to grow in body, mind, and spirit.
You’ll be great in this role if you…
- Have a degree in Early Childhood Education, or working towards your degree, or an equivalent qualification Are very passionate about early years education within an Early Learning Centre
- Preferably have experience in Early Learning centres
- Stand proud of the effective learning programs you’ve developed & executed in your career (ideally for ages 0 to 5 years).
- Understand ‘National Education and Care Services Regulations 2012, NQF & EYLF V2.0
- Can obtain a HLTAID012 First Aid certificate or equivalent
- Can obtain a National Police Certificate and Working with Children card
