Corpus Christi College is a co-educational Catholic college in the southern suburb of Bateman offering Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12.
The College is seeking applications from committed and dynamic Early Childhood teachers interested in joining the Junior School on a Fixed Term full time basis.
Preferred applicants will be qualified to teach early learning and have a willingness to connect with students in the Senior School as part of our K-12 Corpus Christi College story.
Reporting to the Head of Junior School, this teaching role is an exciting opportunity to join a team of passionate educators committed to providing our younger students with a well-rounded education.
Selection criteria:
- Proven experience in successfully planning, organising and delivering educational programs
- Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Framework and connection to the WA Curriculum
- Understanding of the National Quality Standards and how to foster this in the classroom setting
- Ability to foster nurturing and positive relationships with students to cater for their needs
- Demonstrated competence in classroom management
- Understanding of explicit and differentiated instruction , including catering for students with diverse needs
- Proficiency with digital technologies and supportive of digital integration
- Commitment to continuous improvement, best practice teaching & learning, and innovation
- Ability to effectively engage with parents and staff in the interests of students
- Ability to work cooperatively and enthusiastically in a team towards achieving a common vision for learning
- Initiative, professionalism and tact
- Willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the College
- Willingness to support the extra-curricular program of the College
Qualifications required:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education
- Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School (or willingness to work towards attainment)
- Current Teachers Registration with TRBWA
- Current Working with Children Check
