Finnish Early Childhood Education (Australia) Pty Ltd is an education group providing childcare service with a blend of Finnish and Australian Early Childhood education concept. ILO Early Learning (Ballan) Pty Ltd (trading as ILO Kendall Early Education Centre Ballan) is one of our subsidiaries which located in Ballan VIC. We are now looking for an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) who would like to embrace new ideas to establish and deliver pedagogical programs to the children to join us.

Responsibilities:

• Act as Educational Leader or closely work with Educational Leader to establish and execute suitable educational programs.
• Closely work with experts from Finland and Pedagogical team to embed Finnish Early Childhood education concepts into the educational programs. Participate training about Finnish Early Childhood education concepts.
• Develop meaningful and play-based developmentally appropriate program for children and groups which recognizes social and cultural diversity.
• Create positive learning environments for the children in the kinder room.
• Observe and record children’s learning progress and discuss with Educational Leader / Pedagogical team about any potential improvement of the educational programs.
• Apply Finnish Early Childhood education concept into Australia Early Childhood education concepts to form unique programs suitable for the children.
• Develop pedagogical documentation and reflective practice.
• Maintain knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and support the centre performance to meet and/or exceed all National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Communicate effectively with parents including those with different cultural backgrounds.

Essential Criteria

• Teacher registration with Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
• Experience in childcare industry and concept of Early Years Learning Framework
• Having a National Police Check valid within 6 months or willingness to complete

Qualifications

• Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education or any other ACECQA recognized qualification
• VIT Teacher registration
