About the Role:
- Create a friendly, stimulating and interactive learning environment
- develop and implement and maintain effective School Readiness and Quality Educational Program.
- Facilitate & lead the learning experiences for your allocated room
- Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs
- Complete observations and portfolios for children in your allocated room
- Maintain effective communication with parents throughout the service
- Create & maintain positive working relationships with all team members
- Contribute to and implement a Quality Improvement Plan
- Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Early Childhood Teaching Degree (Applicants who are almost completing their degree may be considered).
- Good knowledge of the NQS & EYLF including Assessment & Rating
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Completed child protection training
- Hold or willing to obtain Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Ability to lead & work as part of a cohesive and supportive team environment, nurturing authentic connections with children & families
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Good time management skills and able to work with minimum supervision using own initiatives
- Previous experience in a similar role
