About the Centre/Service With a rich 50-year history, Wellington Preschool prides itself on being a home away from home for all of our families. In 2022, we commenced operations in our fantastic new complex, the Wellington Child and Family Hub. The hub includes two new Kinder Rooms, Maternal Child Health Nurse, consulting rooms and playgroup in a state-of-the-art facility.

Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join us in Term 3 at Wellington Pre-School in 2024 and beyond. Our ideal candidate is an Early Childhood Teacher who can work cooperatively and professionally as a member of our friendly team and will lead a high quality program for the children in our care. The successful candidate will have a strong emphasis on play-based learning with a commitment to providing a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for all children. The Committee of Management allocate groups and sessions for our staff on a yearly basis. The successful applicant must have sound experience and knowledge of the educational sector and the ability to lead the team in promoting and ensuring the service maintains our high level of compliance and safety standards. Qualifications Bachelor of Education with a minimum of 5 years experience as a Teacher. VIT Registration Current First Aid qualification (including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma) Covid Vaccination Certificate Current Police Check Current Working with Children Check Child safe training (DET online module as a minimum) An understanding of Child Safe Standards and Child Protection and the Victorian and National Frameworks
