Early Childhood Teacher (Parental Leave Cover)

Koninderie Community Based Preschool is a reputable not-for-profit preschool located in Albion Park Rail. The preschool operates during NSW school terms. We are governed by an elected management committee providing quality education and care for children 3-6 years. 

Our service operates from 8am-4pm during NSW school terms. 

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in 2024 on a part time 12 month contract (Parental Leave cover). The role requires a teacher who will work collaboratively with our passionate team to develop, review and implement a high quality program to ensure quality care and outcomes for children.

About the role

• Part time / job share (3 days per week)
• Plan and implement a high quality Early Childhood program and have an excellent understanding of intentional teaching and children's development
• Able to effectively communicate with children, families, colleagues, management and community services
• Excellent computer and technology skills
• Passionate person who will collaborate and critically reflect with others to implement changes to improve quality and practices
• Show initiative and have a growth mindset with a willingness to learn
• Commences Term 2

Criteria

• ACECQA approved Degree in Early Childhood Education 
• NESA proficient Teacher Accreditation
• A current NSW Working with Children Check and National Police Check
• Current ACECQA approved First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate
• Current Approved Child Protection Statement of Attainment
• Practical working knowledge and implementation of regulatory and legislative requirements in an Early Childhood Education and Care Service and the ability to maintain these at all times
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
• To work in accordance with the Code of Ethics, Rights of the Child and Child Safe Standards
