The key purpose of this role is to be an innovative and creative Early Childhood Teacher to deliver effective teaching, learning and caring programs in our Early Learning Centre.
This is a full time, fixed term position for the duration of Term 3, 2024 (15 July to 20 September 2024) to cover a leave of absence.
The successful applicant must have:
- Must be a qualified Early Childhood Teacher and able to demonstrate a suitable. tertiary qualification in teaching and their methods.
- Will display a genuine interest in and respect for children.
- Experience in the Reggio Emilia Educational Approach will be advantageous.
- Must be willing to be involved in all aspects of the School’s program.
- Has high level communication skills.
- Possesses sound judgement and a calm and mature disposition.
- Will possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and interact with both adults and students.
- Will be able to work independently but also as part of a dynamic, creative, and collaborative team.
- Demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to following the School’s child safety expectations, principles and policies.
- Must hold Anaphylaxis, First Aid, CPR and Asthma Certificates, or willing to obtain these prior to commencement.
- Must hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
- Must have a current National Police Check (obtained within the last 6 months).
