Little Genius Chifley has an exciting opportunity for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher completing their studies to join our small service.
If you are either working towards your ECT, of finished and interested in part time please reach out.
In addition we stagger shift starting times between 7:30am - 9am to have different starting times.
We are seeking a dedicated team member with the drive to build and maintain an outstanding learning environment for our children. Our Centre is well equipped with resources and programs based on the Early Years Learning Framework curriculum, including a specialised Kindergarten program.
We are a small service with an amazing culture. Our staff are mature, respectful and dedicated.
We have supportive management and invest regularly in centre updates and improvements.

EXPERIENCE SOUGHT:
- Demonstrated understanding of: National Quality Framework (NQF); Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF); Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting and Workplace Health and Safety issues and practices
- Knowledge of the stages of physical, emotional, cognitive, social and cultural development of children
- The capability to engage children through activities and experiences appropriate for age groups / stages of development
- Knowledge of health, hygiene and the nutrition needs of children
- The ability to communicate effectively with children, families and staff
- Experience in / or interest in additional needs / challenging behaviours
- A commitment to your own ongoing professional development in Early Childhood
- The ability to undertake the physical requirements involved within an Early Childhood setting
QUALIFICATIONS:
- An approved working towards an ECT for the purposes of the education and care services, national law and regulations
- Child protection qualification
- Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
- Working with Children Check
About You
An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A current Working with Children Check
First Aid certificate
