Jigsaw, is a paediatric Early Intervention centre supporting neurodiverse children to be the best version of themselves. Jigsaw is a Registered NDIS Provider.
Jigsaw is a well-established, highly respected and award winning private autism and developmental disabilities specialist paediatric clinic, located on the NSW Central Coast. Established for over 14 years we can provide specialist skills and knowledge to support your career. In 2024, Jigsaw will be moving to a newly built specialised Early Intervention clinic at Wadalba.
We have a strong focus on inclusion, supporting children in mainstream settings and delivering positive client and family outcomes within a supportive environment.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our transdisciplinary team, working in strong partnership with fellow professionals, parents/carers and educators. Jigsaw is seeking professionals who are interested in providing Early Intervention to young neurodiverse children, including those with intellectual disability and global developmental delay.
Duties include:
- working within a transdisciplinary team to provide quality Early Intervention, addressing the individualised support needs of neurodiverse children with developmental delay, intellectual disability and on the autism spectrum. Supporting and working closely with their families and caregivers.
- delivering individual intervention programs that lead to positive outcomes and are responsive to the needs of each individual, their family and relevant educational setting.
- working collaboratively with the team to ensure therapy and support goals and strategies are embedded within children's everyday routines and to support transition to mainstream settings
- Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with all stakeholders.
- Preparing and completing assessment, observation and progress reports as required.
The role involves Early Intervention therapy at our clinic, schools, preschools and homes.
Jigsaw uses evidence-based interventions for children with autism and is a registered NDIS provider.

Skills and experience
- Be registered under your appropriate Allied Health body e.g. AHPRA
- Passionate and committed to providing a high level of support to children and families.
- Ability to work effectively with families and professionals in addressing the special needs of clients on the autism spectrum or other disabilities.
- Ability to be flexible and work unsupervised and as part of a professional, transdisciplinary team.
- A sense of creativity and enthusiasm and skills at engaging children with developmental delay, autism and intellectual disability.
- Organisation and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Working with Children Check and ability to obtain a NDIS Worker Check
- Own car and driver's licence.
Highly regarded
- Additional studies in Early Intervention, autism, psychology or inclusive education
- Understanding of the NDIS and the role of Early Intervention
Salary negotiable based on experience.
